In March 2016 the “Rafedín” Project was launched to support a group of Iraqi women and their families who escaped the ISIS  persecution and sought refuge in Jordan. The project provides professional training to 20 women through the support of professional seamstresses from Italy. Rafedin products benefit from the excellent Italian expertise to make products that are of high quality, innovative and that reflect current trends. They are designed in Jordan and made with Italian and middle eastern fabrics symbolizing a strong bond between two regions of the world that have always been culturally connected.

The garments vary from jackets, skirts, t-shirts, scarves, to home products such as pillows, runners, towels, and blankets. Most recently, the women have event explored men’s fashion, by making bow ties and ties.
