inclusion of Iraqi Christian asylum seekers present in Jordan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, particularly in Amman, is the goal of the project, which began in April 2021 and is funded by the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI) through the 8 x mille funds allocated to the Catholic Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In collaboration with the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, training courses on inclusive education were promoted for Iraqi teachers, counselors and families, and in collaboration with Gemelli Medical Center medical and psychological screening of minors with &#8220;special needs&#8221; and health education courses for women were held.<\/span>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Specifically, the following activities were carried out during the project:<\/span>\n          <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<b>Renovation <\/b>and redevelopment of a building converted into a<\/span><b>multipurpose center<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as a reception and meeting place for project activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<b>Training courses<\/b><\/span><b>on innovative teaching methodologies and inclusive education<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for teachers and counselors of schools <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem in Amman<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<b>Health education<\/b><\/span><b>pathways<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for 30 Iraqi women.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<b>Meetings <\/b>and<\/span><b>workshops with Iraqi families <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on issues of inclusion and parenting to accompany a process of integration into the community.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n              <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Psychological and clinical <b>screening <\/b>of children with special needs and the referral of children&#8217;s families to territorial social health services to be addressed.<\/span>\n            <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n              <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Psycho-educational <b>workshops <\/b>for Iraqi children.<\/span>\n            <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Already in 2021, more than 70 teachers have been trained, health education meetings have been held for 30 women, and workshops and meetings have been held for some 30 families and their children.<\/span>\n          <\/p>\n<p>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But much remains to be done to help Iraqi children in Amman, especially those with special needs: help us stand by them and leave no one behind.<\/span>\n          <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element
